Important: Before performing any repair, turn off the water supply to the faucet. Failure to shut off the water supply may result in water damage, flooding, or personal injury. If you need assistance locating or shutting off the water supply, please refer to the following instructions.

Standard Installation Version

The dome and handle will unscrew as one assembly. Remove the complete assembly from the rough valve.

  1. After removing the trim, use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the plastic adapter (A) from the cartridge stem (D). Descarte el tornillo.
  2. Install the two thin extension pieces (B) onto the cartridge stem (D).
  3. Thread the larger extension piece (C) onto the valve body (E) by turning it clockwise by hand until secure.
  4. Place the plastic adapter (A) onto the center stem extension (B).
  5. Reinstall the trim by threading it directly onto the extension piece (C4912).

Note: If additional extension length is required, multiple extension kits may be stacked by repeating steps 2 through 4.

For shorter installations, order the U.3243S extension kit and C7071* short extension component.

A special 5/8" extension version is available. Contact House of Rohl for ordering information and part details.

  1. If the special short version has been purchased, discard the thin brass extension (B) included with the U.32435 package and install the C7071 in its place.
  2. Once installed, follow Steps 2 through 5 from the previous instructions to complete the assembly.
